15 g (1/2 oz) shredded suet
25 g (1 oz) fresh white
breadcrumbs
pinch of ground nutmeg
1/2 small cooking apple,
about 50 g (2 oz)
2 tablespoons blackberry
jam
1. Mix the suet, breadcrumbs and nutmeg together.
2. Peel, core and slice the apple finely.
3. Put a layer of crumb mixture in the base of a ramekin dish, cover with a layer of apple foil owed by a layer of jam. Repeat the layers, finishing with crumbs. Pat the crumbs down firmly, then cook for 1 1/2 minutes until the apple is soft.
4. Brown undera preheated conventional grill.
