* 450g (1 lb) cooking apples
* 3 x 15ml spoons (3 tablespoons) water
* 2 x 15ml spoons (2 tablespoons) sugar, optional
* 25g (1 oz) Stork margarine

1. Peel, core and slice apples.
2. Place in pan with water and sugar, if used, and simmer until soft.
3. Add Stork and beat until smooth or sieve. Re-heat if necessary.
Serve with roast pork, duck or goose.
