As part of our celebration of America's 250th birthday, the Library is featuring a variety of exhibitions -- large and small -- in our special exhibits gallery, our Behind-the-Scenes gallery, and in the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center next door.

Whether a special component of a larger exhibit, or an exhibition entirely dedicated to the theme of America's semiquincentennial, the Library's William J. vanden Heuvel's Special Exhibits Gallery is a premier venue for our Freedom 250 offerings.

Behind-the-Scenes
While we couldn't display all of our Museum artifacts with patriotic themes -- or directly from the Revolutionary period -- all at once, we're bringing out some of these hidden treasures in our Behind-the-Scenes gallery on the lower level of the Museum.

Banner Exhibits
In the visitor center, the Library regularly mounts pop-up banner exhibits. Highlighting our own collections, or partnering with organizations like the Daughters of the American Revolution, these exhibits are informative and always popular.
