Quorn Curry


  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 350g pack Quorn Pieces
  • 1 tsp fresh root ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tsp crushed chilli seeds (or more if required)
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 397g/14 oz can chopped tomatoes
  • 113g/4 oz frozen peas
  • 227g/8 oz very low fat natural yogurt

Place the onion in a microwaveable bowl, add 2 tablespoons of water, cover and cook on full power (650 wattes) for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and Quorn Pieces and cook for a further 2 minutes. Transfer to a large saucepan, add all the remaining ingredients except the yogurt and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid and continue simmering for another 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the yogurt. Serve immediately.
