1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt

225 g (8 oz) baby onions,
peeled and left whole

1 tablespoon soft dark
brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika

A browning dish is required forthis recipe.
1. Preheat a browning dish to Maximum according to the manufacturer's directions. Quickly add the oil and salt, toss in the onions, then sprinkle with the sugar and paprika. Stir quickly, cover and cook for 2 minutes, then stir and cook for a further 2 minutes.
2. Remove the cover immediately after cooking and leave to stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
