Yogurt Marinade
Ingredients:* 450 ml (3/4 pint) natural yogurt
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
* 1 small onion, grated
* 1 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
* 2 garlic cloves, crushed
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly in a large bowl, then chill in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and use as required.
Makes: about 500 ml (17floz)
