Tomato-sauce_cIngredients:
* 25g (1 oz) Stork margarine
* 25g (1 oz) plain flour
* 1 x 226g (8 oz) can tomatoes, sieved and made up with water to 275ml (1/2 pint)
* 1 x 15ml spoon (1 tablespoon) tomato puree
* 1 bay leaf
* Salt and pepper

1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stirring continuously over a moderate heat, bring to the boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer with lid on for 10 minutes.
3. Remove bay leaf. Serve with sausage, meat or fish dishes.

Serves: 4-6.
