* 1oz (25g) hard margarine
* 2 rounded dessertspoons cocoa powder, sieved
* 5oz (150g) caster sugar
* 4 fl oz (120ml) water
* 3 drops vanilla essence

Measure the margarine into a microproof bowl and heat on full power for 1 minute. Stir in the cocoa and sugar. Bring the water to the boil in a microproof jug on full power for 1 1/2 minutes, then stir into the cocoa mixture. Return to the cooker and heat on medium power for 4 minutes. Whisk in the vanilla essence and serve either hot or cold.

Cooking Time: 6 1/2 Minutes
Makes about 1/2 pint (300ml)
