* 1lb (450g) plums or damsons
* 3oz (75g) sugar, to taste
* 2oz (50g) toasted flaked almonds
* cream for serving

Wash and stone the plums or damsons and put them into a bowl with the sugar. Cover with pierced clear film and cook on full power for 5 minutes. Stir once during cooking. Allow to cool, then chill in the refrigerator for several hours. Sprinkle with almonds and serve with cream.
