* 1 quantity Deep Pan Pizza Dough, shaped and ready for topping

* 4 pears, peeled and cored
* 3 tablespoons apple and pear spread
* 60 g (2 oz / 1/2 cup) chopped walnuts
* 2 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger
* 60 g (1 oz/6 teaspoons) butter, melted
* crystallized ginger and angelica, to decorate

To serve:
* whipped cream

1. Preheat oven to 220C (425F/Gas 7). Chop 2 pears and put in a bowl with the apple and pear spread, walnuts and ginger. Mix well, then spread over the dough.
2. Halve remaining pears. With a sharp knife, slice each half from the rounded end to the point without cutting right through. Fan out the sections and arrange on top of the pizza. Brush with melted butter. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Decorate with crystallized ginger and angelica and serve with whipped cream.
