* 175 g (6 oz) orzo or other small pasta shapes
* 29 g (1 oz) peeled and chopped onion
* 25 g (1 oz) red pepper (capsicum), de-seeded and diced
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 85 g (3 1/2 oz) button mushrooms, diced
* 20 g (3/4 oz) unsalted butter
* 1 tbsp flour
* 179 ml (6 fl oz) your baby's usual milk
* 20 g (3/4 oz) Parmesan cheese, grated

1. Cook the orzo in a pan of boiling water according to the packet instructions and drain. Meanwhile, saute the onion and red pepper in the olive oil until softened (about 5 minutes). Add the diced mushrooms and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
2. To make the cheese sauce, melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the flour to make a roux. Gradually whisk in the milk over a medium heat until the sauce has thickened and finally stir in the cheese. To serve, simply mix together the orzo, vegetables and cheese sauce.
