* 75 g (3 oz) ground almonds
* 1 x 400 g (14 oz) can of peaches
* 400 g (14 oz) fresh or frozen mixed berry fruits, e.g. raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries
* 100 g (4 oz) caster sugar

Crumble topping:
* 125 g (4 1/2 oz) plain flour
* 100 g (4 oz) rolled oats
* 75 g (3 oz) brown sugar
* pinch of salt
* 125 g (4 1/2 oz) butter

Pre-heat an oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.To make the topping, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar and pinch of salt, cut the butter into pieces and rub in with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Spread the ground almonds over the base of a 20-cm (8-in) diameter round ovenproof dish. Mix the peaches and berry fruits together with the caster sugar and spoon into the dish. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruits and bake until golden (about 30 minutes).
