1 pint dry cider
1/4 pint apple juice
juice of 3 large oranges
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 orange, sliced then halved


Metric
600 ml dry cider
150 ml apple juice
juice of 3 large oranges
2 x 15 ml spoons caster sugar
1 x 5 ml spoon ground cinnamon
1 orange, sliced then halved


Put all the ingredients, except the sliced orange, into a measuring jug or large bowl. Stir well and float half the orange slices on top. MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 4 minutes, or until the punch is piping hot. Stir once during cooking.
Remove from the oven and pour into individual tumblers. Decorate each tumbler with the remaining orange slices.
Serves 4-6
