1 1/4 pints cold strong black coffee
12 tablespoons whisky
8-12 teaspoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons double cream
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

750 ml cold strong black coffee
12 x 15 ml spoons whisky
8-12 x 5 ml spoons brown sugar
4 x 15 ml spoons double cream
1 x 2.5 ml spoon ground cinnamon

Put the coffee in a suitable jug, whisk and MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 4 1/2 minutes until steaming. Cover and set aside. Put 3 x 15 ml spoons/3 tablespoons whisky in each of 4 stemmed glasses and add sugar to taste. Arrange the glasses in the oven and MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 1 1/4-1 1/2 minutes until the whisky is warm. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then fill with coffee.
Carefully pour a little cream over the back of a spoon on to the surface of the coffee so that it forms a separate layer. Serve sprinkled with cinnamon.
