Name Curried Chicken with Lentils

* 1 onion, finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
* 2 cloves garlic, crushed
* 1/2 teaspoon mild chilli powder
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
* 4oz (100g) green lentils
* 4 chicken wing portions, skinned
* 3/4 pint (450ml) hot chicken stock
* salt
* freshly ground black pepper
* 3oz (75g) fresh spinach, shredded

1. Put the onion, oil and garlic into a microproof dish deep enough to take the rest of the ingredients; cover with pierced clear film and cook on full power for 3 minutes. Add the chilli powder, cumin and turmeric and cook on full power for 1 minute. Stir the mixture, then add the lentils, chicken pieces and stock. Season with salt and pepper, cover with pierced clear film or a lid and cook on full power for 25 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
2. Serve the curried chicken with a bowl of thick natural yoghurt, a crisp vegetable salad and hot, crusty wholemeal bread.
