* 1 quantity Potato Pizza Dough, with Parmesan cheese, shaped and ready for topping

* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 60g (2oz) rashers streaky
bacon, chopped
* 1 onion, finely chopped
* 1 carrot, finely chopped
* 1 stick celery, finely chopped
* 1 clove garlic, crushed
* 250g (8oz) ground beef
* 1 tablespoon tomato puree (paste)
* pinch of mixed herbs
* 125 ml (4 fl oz / 1/2 cup) beef stock
* salt and pepper

To serve:
* freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* tomato and marjoram sprigs, to garnish

1. Make the topping. In a saucepan, heat oil and cook the bacon for 2 minutes. Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic. Cook, stirring, until soft. Add ground beef and cook, stirring until brown.
2. Stir in tomato puree (paste), herbs and stock and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and cook gently for 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 220C (425F/Gas 7). Spoon sauce on top of dough and spread over. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until dough is crisp and golden. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and garnished with tomato and marjoram.
