* 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
* 4 tablespoons brown fruity sauce
* 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
* 1 tablespoon black treacle
* 10 chicken drumsticks

To serve:
* fried onion rings
* hot French bread or potato crisps

1. Mix together the tomato ketchup, fruity sauce, vinegar and treacle in a small bowl. Brush each chicken drumstick with this glaze.
2. Place the glazed chicken on an oiled grid and cook over hot coals on a preheated barbecue for 15-20 minutes, turning the chicken frequently and brushing with the glaze during cooking. Serve the chicken with fried onions and hot bread or crisps.
