Spaghetti with ham and mushrooms

1/2 oz butter
2 oz button mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
6 oz lean cooked ham, diced
1 tablespoon sweet pickle (optional)
9 oz cold cooked spaghetti or other pasta
salt and freshly ground white pepper


Metric
15 g butter
50 g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
175 g lean cooked ham, diced
1 x 15 ml spoon sweet pickle (optional)
250 g cold cooked spaghetti or other pasta
salt and freshly ground white pepper


Put the butter and mushrooms in a shallow dish and MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 2 1/2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, turning them over so they are evenly coated with butter. MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 2 minutes. Add the diced ham and pickle and arrange the spaghetti on top. Cover with cling film and MICROWAVE ON HIGH for 2-3 minutes until the spaghetti is hot, giving the dish a half-turn once during cooking.
Season before serving. Serves 1 -2
